What this site is

LWC Studio is a static, client-side tool for designing Salesforce Lightning Web Components. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no account system, no server-side database, and nothing you configure here is transmitted to us.

Local storage

The generator pages and the drag-and-drop canvas autosave your current configuration using your browser’s localStorage, purely so a refresh or an accidental back-navigation doesn’t lose your work. This data stays on your device — it is never uploaded anywhere, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data, or by using the “Reset to default” / “Clear canvas” controls in the app.

Shareable links

The “Copy shareable link” feature encodes your chosen configuration (colors, text, sizes) directly into the URL as a query parameter. Anyone you send that link to can see the configuration it contains — treat it the same way you would treat any URL you share, and avoid putting sensitive text into a component label if you plan to share the link.

Analytics

If this deployment includes basic, privacy-respecting analytics (page views, referrers), it is used only in aggregate to understand which generators are useful, and not to build an individual profile of you.

This site links out to resources like the Lightning Design System documentation. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn’t cover.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it.
