License for generated code

Any HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or meta.xml that LWC Studio generates for you is yours to use freely — in personal projects, client work, or commercial products — with no attribution required and no royalty owed. You don’t need our permission to ship it.

The tool itself

The LWC Studio application (this website, its source code, and its design) is a separate thing from the code it generates. Reuse of the tool’s own source is governed by the license in its repository, where applicable.

Trademarks

“Salesforce,” “Lightning,” “Lightning Web Components,” “Lightning Design System,” and “SLDS” are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc. LWC Studio references them only to describe compatibility with that platform. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Salesforce, Inc.

No warranty

LWC Studio is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Generated code is a starting point — review it, test it against your own org’s standards, and adapt it before shipping to production, the same as you would with any scaffolding tool.

Acceptable use

Don’t use this tool to generate content intended to mislead, to misrepresent affiliation with Salesforce, or to violate applicable law.
